Choosing what to put into a portfolio and what to stick onto my wall in my studio space was quite difficult. Everything I have done for my project is different and has its own medium and significance to my project. I ended up putting alot of work on my wall as I really found I prefered being able to see the work infront of me and thought the visual impact was much greater. I like the way my work has a cohesion of ideas and a common feel/mood amoung the works. I am now glad that I stuck with a generally black and white colour palette. I thought at the beginning that I would have to incorporate colour sooner or later as I would run out of monochrome ideas, but I found that having such a limited palette forced me 2 look at the materials and processes more and experiment with different ideas rather than relying on the colour to make the impact.
In the end I am happy with my wall and think it shows the mood of my project very clearly.
